Mission Statement
Columbia Basin Health Association assures equal access to quality health care to all persons regardless of age, sex, color, ethnicity, national origin, or the ability to pay.

Vision Statement
To be a model of excellence in patient satisfaction in community and migrant health care and a community leader in initiating and developing collaborative relationships.

Services

EXPAND HEALTH SERVICES TO BE THE PROVIDER OF CHOICES

  • Promote our services and enhance our image as the health care provider for all throughout the communities we serve.
  • Expand and market new value-added services.
  • Create a culture of wellness and encourage preventive health care, including mental health and lifelong healthy behaviors.
  • Provide services that prepare and protect our patients and staff against workplace injuries and environmental threats.
  • Improve customer service at all levels of the organization – internal and external.

Quality
BUILD PROGRAMS THAT SET NATIONAL STANDARDS FOR QUALITY OF CARE

  • Use Continuous Performance Improvement methodology to develop and enhance care processes to improve quality of care and patient safety while improving efficiencies and reducing costs where appropriate.
  • Adopt evidence based clinical guidelines, process and programs to ensure that patient outcomes and quality of care measures are among the best in the nation.
  • Expand our ability to track and benchmark clinical outcomes and customer satisfaction that compares our results with those of other leading primary care organizations and develop a systematic approach to improve measures that lag.
  • Improve care coordination through patient engagement and education and demonstrate improved health outcomes through the use of targeted health information exchange projects via a secure exchange of clinical data.

  • Recruit and retain the most talented and qualified staff, providers and leaders from within our communities, across the nation and world.
  • Focus on cultural competence and developing a diverse workforce that reflects and is responsive to the communities we serve.

  • Learn and adapt to the changes in the health care environment by diversifying and maximizing our funding sources to maintain current services.
  • Expand our fundraising activities to support strategic initiatives.
