DESCRIPTION:
Participates in a cooperative work environment with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and patients including; stocking shelves, organizing filled prescriptions, dispensing medication and operating a cash register. Candidate will learn to operate the pharmacy computer records system and many other tasks unique to the operation of a pharmacy.
The Pharmacy Assistant is the first person each patient contacts when entering the pharmacy so a willingness to provide excellent customer service is essential.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
JOB RELATIONSHIPS:
SUPERVISOR: Pharmacist
CO-WORKERS: Works closely with all Pharmacy, Providers, and Nursing staff.
