We have won TWO Stevie Awards this year!

The Stevie Awards for Great Employers recognize the world’s best employers and the human resources professionals, teams, achievements and HR-related products and suppliers who help to create and drive great places to work. They honor and generate public recognition of the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and working professionals worldwide. So in short, they are a pretty big deal!

More than 950 nominations were submitted in a wide range of categories. The first award we had the honor to receive is in Gold, for Employer of the Year in a Non-profit or Government Organization. This award was based on the way we empower our employees and invest our time into our communities. We demonstrate this through our actions of community outreach, employee engagement, benefits that reinforce the organization's values, and a complete focus on the CBHA experience.

The Second award we received was the COVID Response – Most Valuable Employer. This award was based on the way we used the resources available to ensure our staff and communities received the care and attention they needed while being safe. When the pandemic started we created a COVID taskforce team that was in charge of everything and anything COVID related.

Our two provider champions, Dr. Zha and Dr. Stantspainter, provided weekly video updates on the latest information about the COVID pandemic and what we were doing to keep our staff safe while they focused on caring for our patients.

We are honored to be recognized in these two categories by The Stevie Awards, and we want to thank our amazing staff! We wouldn’t be the great healthcare organization we are today without their dedication and commitment to serving our communities.
