Join us in congratulating Miguel Cruz on his most recent Firestarter Award!

Miguel has been with CBHA for over 8 years working as a Dental Assistant. He has also filled in as the night custodian at the Wahluke, while short staffed. As a Dental Assistant, he is cross trained in Ortho and Peds, which allows him to offer quality healthcare in a compassionate manner to all of our patients.

He is great with patient education and making them feel comfortable. Miguel is a loyal CBHA employee, he is a joy to be around, he is great at his job, going above and beyond each and every day with a positive attitude, and he is does it all with a smile on his face every day!

When did you start at CBHA?

I started at CBHA on March 7, 2017.

What is your job title and day-to-day responsibilities?

I am a dental assistant II. My day-to-day responsibilities are taking care of my patients' oral hygiene needs and assisting our dentist and dental hygienist.

What is your favorite thing about working at CBHA?

My favorite thing about CBHA is how they take care of their patients and staff.

How has CBHA helped you grow in your career?

CBHA has help me grow in every aspect of my career and they have provided me with the tools and resources I need to do my job efficiently.

What has been your favorite project at work so far?

My favorite project at work so far has been the remodeling of our Wahluke Dental office. I can’t wait for our patients to see the final product and to serve them in this new space!

If you could have one superpower, what would it be?

If I can have a super power it would be to fly!

How do you turn a bad day into a good one?

I always try to have a positive mindset, even if it hasn’t been a good day, it’s important to just stay positive.

What did you dream of becoming when you were a kid?

I always wanted to be lawyer when I was a kid because of the shows I would watch on T.V.

Where is your favorite place to travel?

My favorite place to travel would be Miami Beach, Florida.

If you could be any Disney Character which one would you be?

If I could be any Disney Character I would be Iron Man!
