When did you start at CBHA?

I’ve been working at CBHA since January 2021.

What is your job title and day-to-day responsibilities?

I’m a Dental Assistant II and am responsible for assisting dentists in all dental procedures like general dentistry, implants and pediatric. Another important aspect is providing quality care to our patients and making them feel welcomed throughout their visit.

What is your favorite thing about working at CBHA?

Being able to form bonds with patients while informing them about their dental health. I also enjoy how involved CBHA is with our communities.

How has CBHA helped you grow in your career?

They have given me the training and knowledge that I need to give the best quality care. It has also exposed me to different dental careers I hope to pursue in the future.

What has been your favorite project at work so far?

The school screenings we offer because I am able to go out to our students to inform them about oral hygiene at an early stage. It’s amazing to later on see the children at our clinic for their appointments.

If you could have one superpower, what would it be?

I would bring joy to everyone.

How do you turn a bad day into a good one?

By staying positive and buying myself a coffee.

What did you dream of becoming when you were a kid?

When I was a kid, I always dreamed of becoming a cashier.

Where is your favorite place to travel?

Anywhere there is a beach and good weather.

If you could be any Disney Character which one would you be?

I would be Moana.

Anyone you would like to thank or final words?

I would like to thank God, my family and friends for always supporting me throughout this journey even when I doubt myself, they're always there to remind me who I am and what I can accomplish. I am also very grateful with CBHA for hiring me and giving me the opportunity to be a part of this amazing team.

I would also like to thank my team, hygienists, and doctors for helping me conquer the days at work and making them fun. As well as both of my supervisors Carlos, Tracie, and coordinators for supporting me and encouraging me to grow in my position and expand my knowledge.
