Ana Torres, Behavioral Health Consultant
- Mental Health
Provider Bio
Ana grew up in Othello for the majority of her life and first started with CBHA as a Case Manager in our Family Services Department. She wanted to further her education in Behavioral Health, so she attended Eastern Washington University and received her Master’s Degree in Sociology.
“I saw a need for Behavioral Health in my community, so I decided to go back to school and get the education I needed to serve my community,” says Ana.
There can be a lot of stigma around mental health, and can often be socialized to believe that talking about our mental health is a form of weakness. “
When she is not in the exam room with patients, she enjoys traveling with her friends. “I was recently in Puerto Rico with a group of friends, and we had a lot of fun.” She also considers herself as a homebody and likes spending time with family.
She wants her future patients to know that she is here to offer the support and care they need. “I am excited to serve my community and look forward to working with you.”
