Clarissa Jimenez, Dental Hygienist
- Dental Hygiene
Provider Bio
“I chose to become a dental hygienist because I enjoy providing healthcare to others. Establishing a one on one relationship with my patients is important to me; Othello is home for me and I feel I can relate to my patients. Working for CBHA gives me the opportunity to provide quality oral health care to my community. “
For Clarissa and her family, moving to Othello is a homecoming of sorts. Clarissa was born in Moses Lake and raised in Othello, graduating from Othello High School in 2007, from CBC with an Associates in Art and Sciences degree in 2009 and from Eastern Washington University School of Dental Hygiene with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene degree in 2013.
Clarissa previously worked for CBHA as a Dental Hygienist after graduating hygiene school. In 2015, she moved to Wisconsin with her family while her husband, Manual, was attending dental school. She worked in Wisconsin and also worked at CBHA intermittently when their family returned to Othello during breaks from school to visit family. Clarissa now works full time as a hygienist at the CBHA Dental Clinic.
“I love being back home,” Clarissa said. “We have purchased a home here and our children, Caiden, 4 and Mila, 2, are excited to have their own rooms!” Clarissa loves spending time with her family. They enjoy outdoor activities with their children and designate one night a week as family movie night.
