Dr. Jimenez grew up in a small town just outside of Centralia, WA. To give you an idea of just how small it really is, his graduating class only had 18 people!

He attended Western Washington University in Bellingham, receiving his Bachelors in Molecular Biology. After, he completed his D.M.D at UCONN School of Dental Medicine in Farmington, Connecticut.

Dr. Jimenez decided to go for dentistry after he participated in several medical and dental education programs during his summer breaks while he was in undergrad.

After completing his residency year with us, he decided he wanted to stay because it reminded him of where he grew up. “CBHA provides resources for low-income families, and when I was growing up I was that family that needed those resources. It’s nice to be on the other side, and be able to serve families that need it.”

Dr. Jimenez also enjoys teaching people the importance of taking care of their oral health and learning about new and updated treatments.

When he is not seeing patients, he likes to stay active. “I like to go snowboarding, hiking and activities that keep me out in nature,” says Dr. Jimenez.

He learned a lot in the past year from his mentors, who he is happy to be able to continue working with. “I was also able to serve a great patient population, which is what ultimately kept me here at CBHA.”

He is looking forward to continuing to improve in his dentistry skills, become more involved with the community, and the new relationships he will build with future patients.
