Cost-Effective Nutritional Health in Central Washington
WIC, Women, Infants, and Children, is a state-funded nutrition program that provides free health education, food, and other services to underserved families in Washington. Primarily created for pregnant women, new mothers, and children under age five, WIC is a cost-effective way to support a healthy diet for you and your family.
WIC eligible nutrition services include:
- Nutritional education and counseling
- Breastfeeding support and education
- Promotion of healthy habits
- Subsidies for healthy foods and Farmers Markets (in-season)
- General health education
- Parenting classes
