CBHA Receives Immunize Washington Award

CBHA is honored to have received the Immunize Washington Award and would like to thank the Department of Health for this certification!

The Immunize Washington Annual Award is given to medical clinics/medical practices for reaching immunization rates of 70% or higher on childhood and adolescent vaccines. This is the sixth year of the Immunize Washington provider recognition program, hosted by the Washington Health Plan Partnership.

There are three tiers for the award – Gold, Silver and Bronze. CBHA’s Wahluke and Othello Clinic were both in the 80th percentile, awarding them the Gold certificate, and our Connell Clinic was in the 70th percentile, awarding them the Silver certificate.

“These immunization awards celebrate CBHA’s dedication to improving population health and successfully partnering with Immunize Washington to improve childhood immunizations over the past 6 years. Through this time, we have been able to implement best practice guidelines of care to ensure consistency, as well as update the technology used to document and track vaccination records,” said CBHA’s Director of Quality, Hayley Middleton.

CBHA is committed to quality from the top down. We are very proud of the care and commitment of our providers, clinical staff and administrative support teams to improve the health and quality of care for the youth in our communities.

Jennifer Coiteux, the Acting Office Director from the Department of Health wanted to thank CBHA for their hard work this year. “I want to thank you for all you do to keep people healthy in our state. Your efforts to keep kids up to date on their immunizations helps keep our communities strong and protected from life-threatening and debilitating illnesses.”

CBHA would like to thank our community for entrusting us to keep them safe and healthy, and thank the Department of Health for encouraging us to continue keeping our patients up-to-date on their immunizations!
